Crocheted scarf in Filet crochet and WGSL Afghan squares

Our St. Louis Weavers Guild Knitters & Spinners Group met on Monday evening (June 18) at the U. City Library, and had a look at the afghan squares made by various members. Here's a pic - the square in the lower right hand corner is one of mine:



These squares really need to be seen in person - great job by all concerned! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product!

Here's a picture of a scarf in filet crochet that I started at the meeting and finished since then: 


This was crocheted in triple crochet with two chains in between, lengthwise, leaving longish tails to incorporate into the fringe.
